The gaming industry has changed drastically. From 1962s Space War and 1972s pong to PUBG or Fortnite, many different aspects of gaming have changed from graphics to the number of players who can play a game at one time.

But one thing which hasn't changed in the ever-evolving gaming industry is the chance to go head to head and compete with each other. Extreme game competition has not only proved to be beneficial for the gaming industry. Still, it has also benefited the gamers, and a new branch of the gaming industry is born as the E-sports industry.

In games like Quake, Street Fighter, Starcraft, Counter-Strike, League of Legends, and many more the competition has become organized, popular, and skill intensive and is earned the name of E-sports. During the 1980s the competition in these kinds of games brought attention and attention brings money which helped grow this industry massively.

You can check out my other blog to learn how huge this industry is. Today we are going to talk about those people who have made their name in the E-sport industry through their achievements and skills in the gaming industry. so, here are the top ten gamers of all time in E-sports history.

1. Faker:

                    lee sang hook a young Koren gamer popular by his gaming name Faker is a professional young Korean gamer who is a player of the National Korean team and STKHe starts his career at the tender age of 17. He first appeared on the scene in the E-sports industry in 2013, by the most prominent Korean E-sport team SK Telecom.

He got famous when he won the league of legends championship, in fact, he is one of the two players who have won the league of legends world championship three times. But it is only one of his many achievements in the E-sports industry. His other achievements include winning the All-Star Paris in 2014, he has also won the mid-season invitations in 2016 and 2017 and he also won the IEM world championship in 2015.

Faker has earned well over $1.2 million in prize money throughout his career. having that amount of money is a dream for many but this kid just got that money by playing games.

2. Flash:  

                   The second-best player in the E-sport industry on our list will be Lee Young Hoo also famous by the name Flash in the E-sport industry. He also comes from the Republic of Korea. The games which made him famous are  Starcraft II and Starcraft: Brood War. He started his professional gaming career with Starcraft II and soon become one of the best players to ever play this game.

During his professional gaming career, he managed to win tournaments with consistency. and made a name for himself in the E-sport gaming industry.  This kind of gaming experience will take you places in the gaming industry. 

He stopped playing Starcraft in  December 2015. But soon returned to the industry in 2016 with Starcraft: Brood War and again kept his tradition of winning an enormous amount of wins in starcraft: brood war. Nowadays he regularly broadcast himself playing the game through Afreeca TV.

He has also won the 2nd,3rd, and 4th seasons of the Afreeca strategy.

3. Forest:

                         Number 3rd on our list is Forest a Sweden gamer. his real name is Patrick Lindberg. he is famous for playing Counter-Strike and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. He is one of the best Counterstrike players in the whole world. Therefore he had played with the leading teams in this game like Begrip Gaming, Fnatic, Ninjas In Pajamas, and SK gaming and he also has been a player for Sweden's national team.

He began his professional gaming career in 2005. he was so good in his game that he helps Fanatic be the dominant Counter-Strike team in the e-sport industry. He also helped the Counter-Strike team to break the record as the highest earning team Counter-Strike history.

He then left the fanatic and join SK gaming to play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. He then also left SK Gaming and joined Ninjas In Pajamas also known as NIP in the E-sport community.

4. Get-Right:

                                 On number 4 we again have a Swedish gamer Christopher Alsunnd or Get-Right his gaming name for which he is more famous in the E-sport community. He is famous for playing Assetto Corsa, Counter-Strike, and Counter-Strike; Global Offensive. He is one of the best competitors to come out of  Sweden. 

Many people consider him to be the greatest player ever to play the counter-strike game. He started his professional gaming career in 2007. He quickly started gaining top positions in noticeable tournaments his favorite position in the Counter-Strike game is considered to be the "Lueker".

Despite not having the best aiming he still manages to play consistently and well enough to take home the top champion trophy from most tournaments.

5. SlayerS_'Boxer':

                                                 The next player on our list is again a Korean national. Lim Yo-Hwan is also known as SlayerS_'Boxer' in the e-sport community. He is famous for playing Starcraft II  and Starcraft II: Brood War. Many also refer him to as "The emperor" or "The Terran Emperor " for his skills in playing as a Terrian in Starcraft II.

He is considered to be the most successful player ever to play StarCraft. His professional career is a witness to his extraordinary performance in this game. His professional career is quite impressive and is decorated with many wins in different tournaments. He also holds the record of 548 wins during his professional gaming career.

He had to end his career due to health-related issues. He is currently a professional poker player but remains a famous icon in the Starcraft II and e-sport community.

6. Daigo:

                     Uehara Daigo or simply known as Daigo in the e-sport community is a Japanese E-sport player and the only player on our list who has not joined any professional E-Sport team during his professional gaming career. Daigo also sometimes goes by his handle The Beast.

He has played a lot of games during his professional career some of them are Capcom vs Ank2, Guilty Gear XX, Guilty Gear Slash, Hyper Street Fighter II, Street Fighter III, 3rd Strike, and Street Fighter IV.V.V Arcade Edition, and Ultra Street Fighter IV.

He is considered to be the greatest Street Fighter player of all time. He mostly plays 2d fighting games.
His achievements include "The most successful player in major tournaments of street fighter" in Guinness world record. The exploits of Daigo have become legendary.

He also has a mini-series called "Daigo the beast: Umehara fighting gamers" which debuted an English translation in mid-2017.

7. Olofmiester: 

                                     Olof Kajbjer also famous as Olofmeiester is a Swedish gamer. he has played for teams such as Faze Caln, Five Crowns, Fnatic, and LGB E-sport. He is famous for playing Assetto Corsa, Counter-Strike, and Counter-Strike Global Offensive. He is consider to be the best Swedish player to play Counter-Strike Global Offensive.

Some might say he is the best Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player in the world. He had played for several teams but consistently played for Faze Clan. He is able to gain many achievements during his professional gaming career. His other achievements include holding two championship titles from CSGO majors, ESL one Katowice 2012, and ESL one Clonge 2015 and has racked up numerous tournaments throughout his impressive career.

8. Fatality: 

                           The next best player on our list comes from the USA. Jonathan Wendel is also famous as Fatality in the E-sport community. Fatality is a player of the Clan Kapitol team and is famous for playing games like Alien vs Predator 2, Counter-Strike, Doom 3, Painkillers, Quake 4, Quake III arena, Quake world, and Unreal Tournament 2003.

He no longer participates in professional competitions, but when he used to participate in competitions, he used to be the deadliest player to compete with in Quake and other FPS titles. After retiring he founded his own company "Fatility Inc", Which manufactures his own branded gaming accessories.

He begin his career in 1999 in the E-sport industry. He was pretty good with his skills and rose to fame quickly after winning tournaments one after another. He has won a total of 12 world championship titles. His other achievements include Player Of The Year awards with the Cyberattele professional league.

9. Moon:

                     The next player on our list is Jang Jae Jo or known as Moon in the e-sport community. He comes from the Republic of Korea and has played with teams like Fnatic, Meet Your Makers, and Tyloo. He had played Starcraft II and Warcraft III for several years.

He's a very talented Star-Craft player but he is considered to be the best Warcraft III Night Elf player in the world. He has won a total of five world championships three of which are Korean Warcraft III championships and four seasons of MBC Games World War. He was also featured for his exploits in the documentary, beyond the game.

He has won more money than any other player in Warcraft III history. He took a break from his professional gaming career to fulfill his South Korean Military service requirements. but he came back and started playing and competing actively.

10. Jaedong:

                                The last best player on our list will be lee Jae Dong or mostly known as JaeDong. He is from the Republic Of Korea. He had played with teams like The 8th Team, CJ Entrus, Evil Geniuses, Hwaesung OZ, Lecaf OZ, and the Korean national team. He is famous for playing Starcraft II and Starcraft II: brood war

Jaedong is consider to be one of the best Star-Craft player of all time. He most often competes using the Zerg Race. He retired from playing Star-Craft in 2016 and started playing Star-Craft: Brood War the same year. Here he managed to achieve many great wins in the tournaments 

He also manages to win an impressive amount of prize money through Star-Craft: Brood War. He is also known as the " The Tyrant" or " The Legendary Killer".
